SAMUEL K MACDONALD September 19, 1933 - August 31, 2010 Suddenly but peacefully, SKM (140) left us Tuesday. Sam created his family in his friends and reminded us of the simple pleasures in life, a good cup of tea, unadulterated rice pudding, marmalade with Seville oranges (Seville oranges come from Seville). A gentleman who was extremely well read, cultured and eager to converse on a multitude of subjects; Global/National/Local regardless of who he was visiting, California, Luxemburg, Scotland, London and all corners of the world. We all know Sam in our own special way. We will hold him dear to our hearts A celebration of Sam's life will be held on Tuesday, September 7, at 2:00 p.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Sam will be returned home following the service. A gathering of family and friends will be held also on Tuesday following the service at 167 Bannatyne Avenue. A special thank you to Denis Gelinas for your friendship.
