3WILLIAM BOOTH BALHARRY JR. March 30, 1963 September 3, 2010 Peacefully on September 3, 2010 with his loving wife at his side, and family in his heart. Bill leaves behind his wife and love of his life Michelle; his two boys, Dylan and Tyler and constant companion, his dog Cooper. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Bill and Carole; sisters, Nancy (Dave) and Lori (John); nieces and nephews, Holly, Connor, Emily and Cooper and many close relatives and dear friends. Born in Winnipeg on March 30, 1963, Bill grew up in Windsor Park and was active in the community playing many years of hockey, lacrosse and golf. His love and passion for sports were left as a legacy in Dylan and Tyler whom he spent many years teaching and coaching. At any of the boys' games you'd find Bill with the loudest voice in the crowd cheering the team on. Bill had a love for golf. His favourite spot was Hecla where he had one more chance to rip his Taylor Made R9 driver. He loved the outdoors and spending time working in his yard, at the cottage in Whytewold and in his garage. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his wife and his boys. He enjoyed a successful 25 year career as an Air Balance Control Specialist with Air Movement Mechanical Services and then the Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health where he worked amongst the best and brightest in the world. Bill loved his work and the many close friendships he made over the years. A practical jokester throughout his life, Bill loved making people laugh. His sense of humour and mischievous ways left everyone wanting more. A master storyteller, Bill seized every opportunity to hold an audience captive with his wit and charm. His final wish was to be remembered as the Professor of Comedy. The family would like to thank the compassionate doctors and caregivers at CancerCare Manitoba and Selkirk General Hospital. The care Bill received was above and beyond. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Bill, your passing has broken so many hearts, but our wonderful memories with you will forever be in our hearts and keep us strong. We Can't Get No Satisfaction without you here. Please join his family and friends for a celebration of Bill's life on Tuesday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Niakwa Country Club, 620 Niakwa Road.
