FRANK SLIWORSKY It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Frank Sliworsky, who was taken from us suddenly on Monday, September 13, 2010 at the age of 64 years in Winnipeg, MB. Remaining to forever cherish Frank's memory are his wife, Adele; stepchildren Elaina Sliworsky, Rick and Helen Dorma, Michele Biberdorf and Candice and Frank Versace; eight grandchildren; his mother Rose Cooper; three brothers Jim Sliworsky, Wayne Soltys and Stan Soltys. Frank was born and raised in Flin Flon, MB. He settled in Winnipeg where he met his wife Adele Dorma. They were married on June 16, 2001. Frank worked as a power engineer during his career and retired with much excitement in 2005 from Apotex. Throughout their time together Frank and Adele were always enjoying time with family, travelling and being outdoors. He loved to be outside puttering in the yard or the garage and was always the first to lend a hand to a friend. He was the happiest when fixing things, travelling and camping. They took many trips together, from Mexico in the winter to small towns for lunch or coffee. They spent this summer camping in all their favourite places enjoying the lake, sitting around the fire, and watching the stars. Frank was a loving husband and made Adele feel like the most important person in the world. They did everything for each other and were seldom seen apart. He was also a fun loving grandpa who could never say no . We are comforted by knowing Frank is in Heaven and will be watching and protecting us all from above. His presence will always be felt in our hearts. On Monday, September 20, 2010 Frank's Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Rockwood ANAF, 341 Wilton Street, with Rev. Gordon Shields, presider. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory be made to Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3.
