ELVA IRENE MACADAM (BALDWIN) Passed away peacefully September 9, 2010 at University Hospital in Vancouver, BC at the age of 93. She spent much of her life in Winnipeg, moving to Vancouver at age 70 to be closer to her family. She was an active participant at the Kerrisdale Senior's Centre and a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed socializing with her neighbours and relatives, playing cards, bingo, trips to local and over the border casinos and dining at Minerva's. Irene will be remembered by her son Gerry (Trudy), daughters Marilyn Harris, Darlene Rohs (Dave), 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and is predeceased by her husband Gordon and son-in-law Charlie Harris. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Sutcliffe and the staff at UBC Hospital. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
