FRANCES ROSE JOROWSKI November 29, 1923 - September 22, 2010 With sadness our family announces the recent passing of Frances Jorowski, wife of her beloved late husband, Anthony Jorowski and daughter of Frank and Mary Geras, both deceased. Born in Winnipeg, MB, Frances lived nearly her entire life there and in Pine Falls, MB. She devoted herself to her family. She took pride in being an exceptional homemaker. She loved to garden. She enjoyed curling and was a skip for several years. We received the benefit of her loving care all of our lives and we greatly mourn her passing. While she enjoyed good health all of her life, her health failed rapidly in the past year. Surrounded by family members, she died quietly at Rockyview Hospital in Calgary on Wednesday September 22, 2010 at 12:15 p.m. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Randall) Iversen; grandsons Devin Iversen and William (Angel) Iversen of Calgary, granddaughters Sheila (Marlon) Clifford, and Jackie (Greg) Jorowski of Winnipeg; great-grandchildren Cheyanne Clifford of Winnipeg, and Quinnten and Lexington Iversen of Calgary; sister Adeleine Pielech of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Anne Jorowski of Winnipeg; great-aunt Josie Jarowski of Winnipeg and many nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by her son, Geras (Jackie) Jorowski, and by her sisters Angie Zaharko and Bernice Iwanicki, and her grandson Phoenix Paul Jorowski-Elson. The family wishes to express it's appreciation to those who helped her so much in recent months and especially to Dr. Johan Friesen and the nurses and other staff in Unit 73 at the Rockyview Hospital. We also wish to express our appreciation for the many kindnesses of her long time next door neighbours in Winnipeg, Lidia and Acacio Ribeiro and family, whose friendship meant so much to her. At her request, no funeral service will take place. She received last rites while in hospital. Interment will take place in Winnipeg, MB. Arrangements entrusted to McINNIS HOLLOWAY'S Crowfoot Chapel 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.
