SVEND ERIK KRISTENSEN Peacefully on October 10, 2010 Erik passed away with his youngest daughter by his side. Erik was born in Aarhus, Denmark October 15, 1946 to Svend and Agnes. He emigrated with his parents and two brothers to Canada at the age of 10. He married Amy Jean Peterson in 1978 and they had two daughters, Jennifer Elaine and Nicole Marie. Erik had many years of illness. Erik is survived by Nicole and Jennifer and their mother Amy Jean Peterson, his good and loyal friend Garry Fryza, his brothers Hanstrogen and Knud-Aage (Bill) Kristensen, his mother-in-law Rev. Beth Aime and his sisters-in-law Cathy Clarke, Mildred Drewlo and Margaret Drewlo. Erik was predeceased by his parents. Erik's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Luther Home where Erik resided for the past four years. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 16, at 10 a.m. at Brookside Cemetery.
