META SPRENGER On October 12, 2010 at the Kildonan Personal Care Home, Meta Sprenger, aged 96 years, beloved wife of the late Reinhold (Roy) Sprenger. Meta was a long-time, faithful member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church. She served as a member of the choir for many years. Meta is predeceased by her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her niece Wally Tolkmitt; nephews Theodore Hermann, Alfred Kienetz and Alvin Kienetz all of Winnipeg and nieces and a nephew in Germany. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street with Pastor Heimo Bachmeyer officiating. Viewing will be held for one hour prior to the service. Following a reception, interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Kildonan Personal Care Home for their kindness and professional care for Meta during her time there.
