Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANA MARJORIE JONES It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on October 22, 2010 of Diana Marjorie Jones, born January 21, 1969. Diana, wife of Lawrence Isaac, and mother to Emily, Evan and Julia is survived by her parents, Owen and Jean Jones, siblings, Glyn, Sylvia, Trevor and Donna (and their families), and numerous other family members and friends. Diana was raised in Ontario. She met Lawrence at the University of Winnipeg while they were taking their Bachelor degrees. Diana and Lawrence lived in Ottawa while she pursued her Master of Arts degree, before moving home to Winnipeg to raise their family. Diana was a great mother and will be remembered for her strong sense of social justice, commitment to her community, family and friends. She enjoyed summers camping with her family, canoe trips at Shoal Lake and lakes throughout Manitoba and Ontario, and spending time at her family's cottage in Ontario. An open house to celebrate Diana's life will be held on Sunday, October 24 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 170 Canora Street. Donations in Diana's name may be made to a charity of your choice.

Diana was a part of my cohort going through a Masters degree at Carleton University for Anthropology. She was very pregnant with her first child when she sat with me during my thesis defense as my support buddy. Thanks Diana. Some of our cohort have reconnected and we were wondering about her.
