HANS WALDEMAR KIRSCHKE Born August 23, 1938 in Berlin, Germany. After a lengthy illness, he went to be with the Lord, in Kelowna, BC on October 28, 2010. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Shirley; three children: Cheryl Ann Nicholls-Weston (Ron Weston), Terry (Penny) Murphy, Christian Kirschke; grandsons: Jefre Nicholls and Shane Weston; granddaughters: Amber and Amanda Weston and his sister Marion Bartel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church, 4091 Lakeshore Road, Kelowna, BC V1W 1V7. The family wishes to thank Dr. Canning, the Kelowna Hospice House and all the other Health Care workers and friends who played such an important roll in Han's care over the past two years.
