STEVE STEFANYSHEN December 23, 1931 - October 24, 2010 With his family by his side, Steve passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife Audrey, children Grant (Darya Shember), Glen (Kim Anderson) and Earl; grandchildren Anson, Nolan and Lauren; sisters Olga (Boris), Sally and brother Bill (Julia); numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Retiring from Winnipeg Transit after 30+ years, Steve enjoyed sports of all kinds. He loved baseball, curling, bowling, gardening and playing with his grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment to follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steve's memory to the St. Boniface Foundation, Cancer Research. Special thank you to Doctors and Nursing staff at CancerCare St. Boniface Hospital and to Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Dad. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
