WALTER MARSHALL March 9, 1920 - November 1, 2010 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Walter Marshall at the age of 90. Predeceased by his parents; son Bill, sisters Ruth Sammons and Mariam Schwartz. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Aileen; daughter Linda; grandchildren Tara (Shawn); Scott, Liane (Chuck) Wittman and their mother Sylvia; five great-grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Dalik, Elsie Myers, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Born and raised in Charleswood where he was an active member of the Historical Society and volunteer driver for the seniors. Walter was employed for many years at Winnipeg Transit retiring as a Transit Supervisor. He also worked for Sears Canada and CNIB. Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Heritage Park Temple, 825 School Road. Special thanks to Central Park Lodge for their care and compassion shown to Walter in his final years.
