WILLIAM LEWIS GRAY B.SC, M.D. March 24, 1948 to November 3, 2010 Peacefully and in the company of wonderful friends and family Bill lost a courageous battle following a brainstem stroke in 2008. Bill leaves behind his wife Crysti and their children, Connlee, Mollee and Ty; also sons Colin (Sarah, Katie, Jillian), and Trevor (Isabelle); father William, mother Helen, sisters Ainslie, Nancy (Allan Smeall), Barb (Ted Bigelow), Cari and brother Ian (Katie), and many nieces and nephews. On graduation from SJR and the University of Manitoba medical school Bill opened a family practice in Spokane, Washington. The community embraced him, especially those from Liberty Lake, and Bill dedicated himself to serving them for over 30 years. Bill was a lover of animals and the outdoors. He was a past president of the Winnipeg Rowing Club and enjoyed skiing, swimming, hunting and never missed an opportunity to catch a trophy fish. In 2007, Bill completed the Coeur d'Alene Iron Man competition, a feat few would even attempt. He will be greatly missed by his many friends. A special thanks to those who supported Bill and his family during the past two years.
