AUDREY MAXWELL 1915 - 2010 Audrey passed away October 8, 2010 in Swan River, MB. Audrey was raised in Saskatchewan and moved to Manitoba in her early 20s. She married Alf Maxwell in 1936 and while in Rivers, MB, they had two children, Marlynn and Sheila. In 1948 the family moved to Emerson, MB, where a third daughter Diana, was born. In 1968, Audrey and Alf moved to Winnipeg where Alf passed away in 1975. Audrey spent a few years in Swan River and Wellman Lake in the mid 1980s, returning to Winnipeg in 1990, where she remained until July 2009. She then returned to Swan River, where she remained until her passing. Audrey was predeceased by Marlynn in 2004. She is survived by Sheila and Diana (Stan), nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one sister. Audrey was a woman of many talents: sewing, knitting, crocheting and gardening, to name a few. She curled into her early 80s, was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed singing in the choirs of the churches she attended. She loved animals and will be missed by many. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in Winnipeg at St. Peter's Anglican Church, 755 Elm St. on December 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with inurnment to follow at Thomson In the Park .
