HELEN GORRELL One year ago today ... you left. Clearly, I did not see a time when you would not be, A time when you must leave. It seemed to me then, that our time here together, Would go on forever. I never feared to drown when you were around, You helped me walk upon your teaching grounds. You taught me about the beauty of courage and strength, Your will, which could never be bent. I knew your strength, and am getting to know your struggles, Your love guided me through many troubles. It seemed to me then, our time here together, Would go on forever. I remember your departing smile, lighting up my world. As if to say, don't worry, I love you my girl . In Memory of My Mother: her love, her indomitable will, her generosity, her hurt, her loss and her gifts to me - I miss you, Mom. Love, Sharon.
