Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTORIA HAUGAN 1922 - 2011 It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Victoria Haugan (nee St. Cyr) with her loving family by her side at the Grace Hospital on Tuesday, January 4, 2011. She is predeceased by her husband Louie, son Barry, daughter Doris and granddaughter little Doris. Victoria will be greatly missed and to cherish her many memories are her surviving son Orille (Linda), daughter Evelyn, son Morris, son-in-law Bob Nokes, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Victoria was born on August 8, 1922 in St. Eustache, MB. Victoria later moved to Headingley, MB where she was a homemaker and raised her family. Victoria was a generous lady and one of her many passions in life was to go shopping. Victoria also loved Elvis and watching wrestling. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Grace Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Victoria's memory to the Salvation Army Memorial Fund, PO Box 1932, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3R2. According to Victoria's wishes, cremation has taken place, she will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. Memorial service Saturday, January 8 at 1:30 p.m., Holy Trinity Church in Headingley.
