PIETROANGELO (PIETRO) PANTUSA 1924 - 2011 Peacefully on January 5, 2011 with his family by his side at the Victoria Hospital, passed away at the age of 86. Pietro was predeceased by his parents, Luigi and Angelina. He will be very sadly missed by his beloved wife of 56 years, Ermelinda and his tre stelle daughters, Angelina, Luigina and Anna; and his grandchildren, Peter and Angelina Girden, Brenden Clarke, Tyler Ellis; and great-grandson Damien Faison. His biggest loves in life were the visits from his daughters and especially his grandchildren / great-grandson. He will be remembered by his in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews and very close friends in Winnipeg and in Italy. Pietro was born in Spezzano Della Sila, Cosenza Italy on September 14 and immigrated to Canada in 1962 to ensure his family would have a better life. A viewing will be held at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. at 10:00 a.m. with mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 14. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street. The family would like to thank the staff of WHRA and the Victoria General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pietro's memory may be made to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation. Pietro touched the hearts of many. Riposa in pace loving Husband, Pa', Nonno.
