Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryURSULA OLGA KUCH (nee SCHEITOR) 1938 - 2011 On Monday, January 10, 2011, Ursula Olga Kuch died peacefully in her sleep after a valiant struggle with liver disease. Ursula was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Olga Scheitor. She is survived by her husband Waldemar; her sisters Hannelore and Christel; her brother Kurt (Phyllis); her children Betty (Brent), Randy (Kim), Susan (Kelly); and her pride and joy, her three grandchildren Jordan, Justin, and Travis. Ursula was born October 7, 1938, in what is now Lodz, Poland. In 1943 her family fled to Barsinghausen, Germany. They then moved to Canada in 1953, settling first in Medicine Hat where Ursula met and married Waldemar, and then on to Winnipeg in 1962. Once the children were all full-time in school, Ursula went to work first at Eaton's Fancy Foods, then W.H. Smith Bookstore, and finally at Andrews Shoes, as well as volunteering for many, many happy years at Camp Nutimik as the kitchen chef. Memorial service will be held at McDermot Avenue Baptist Church, 821 McDermot Avenue, on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. At Ursula's request, flowers are gratefully declined. A donation may be made in Ursula's name to Camp Nutimik, in care of 5 Amelia Crescent, Winnipeg, R2K 3X8.
