Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIAN GUBA August 8, 1927 - January 9, 2011 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Marian Guba, beloved husband of Irmgard. He is survived by his two sons, Paul and Edmund (Kathy). Marian was born in Garwolin, Poland. In 1953, he met Irmgard in Hamburg, Germany. In 1954 they immigrated to Canada. Marian was employed with the City of Winnipeg from 1954 until his retirement in 1987. He spent his retirement years at his cottage in Belair, MB until health issues forced him back to Winnipeg. As per Marian's wishes a private family service was held on Thursday, January 13. The family would like to thank Dr. Czarnecki and Dr. Szajkowski for their many years of professional care, the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their compassionate and courteous treatment and the staff at Amber Meadows for their long term care and comfort in his final years.
