Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCENA FUELLOS Peacefully with family by her side Lucena passed away on January 11, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Remaining to cherish Lucenas memory are her six children; daughter Angelita (Pipeto) Meija; daughter Benedicta (Frank) Taberdo; son Conrado (Magdelina) Fuellos; daughter Delia Ismael; son Emilio (Precila) Fuellos; daughter Femy (Leo) Trinidad; along with her 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grand-children, and friends of the family. Lucena was born on October 22, 1922 in Guimba, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. She was married to Jose Fuellos for 27 years before she became a widow. In 1978, along with her three youngest children she began a new life in Winnipeg, MB Canada. For years Lucena went back and forth between Canada and the Philippines lovingly taking care of all of her children and grandchildren on opposite sides of the world. A celebration of Lucena's life will be held on January 16, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home at 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. She will be returning to her homeland to be laid to rest along side her husband.
