Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLARENCE HERMAN MIERKE April 13, 1920 - January 12, 2011 Peacefully in the early hours of January 12, 2011, Clarence Herman Mierke passed away. He was predeceased by his wife Mary, on October 20, 2010. Clarence is survived by his four children, Russel (Anne), Alvin (Sharon), Dennis (Rachael) and Sharon Debra; his sister Nora and brother Leo, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He and Mary were baptized as Jehovah's Witnesses in 1947. They had great faith in the resurrection hope and looked forward to God's promise of a paradise earth. (Ps. 37:29). The family would like to thank Dr. Heinrich, the staff at St. Boniface General Hospital, Christine and Joanne of the WRHA Palliative Care Program and the professional and caring staff at Riverview Palliative Care Unit. Donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Riverview Medical Centre. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 22 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 60 Cadboro Rd.
