Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR LOUISE CLARK (nee McKnight) December 26, 1927 - January 14, 2011 Peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Carman Memorial Hospital with her family by her side, Eleanor passed away at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur (1978), by her son-in-law Roy (2000), by her sisters Grace (Hugh Clearwater), Jean (Marvin Coleman), Myrtle (Gordon Alder) and Marion (George Allen). Eleanor is lovingly remembered by her son Gregory, her daughter Colleen, her granddaughters Janelle (Aaron Scott), Nicole (Bryan Krawchyshyn) and Jerilyn and her special friend Harvey Pockett, as well as many nieces and nephews. Eleanor was born in St. Claude, Manitoba and moved to Carman in 1948 where she nursed at the Carman Memorial Hospital. Eleanor was a professional artist and was a member of the Manitoba Society of Artists. Eleanor was a missionary evangelist and loved her work with native people in Northern Manitoba. Funeral service will be held at Doyle's Funeral Chapel in Carman on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Viewing prior to the service.
