Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDEN LIGNES ESPARES HERNANDEZ March 27, 1954 - January 11, 2011 After being admitted to the Grace Hospital on November 13, 2010 and after a courageous and near decade long battle with breast cancer, Eden Hernandez passed away on January 11, 2011, at 5:50 a.m.; Eden is now at peace. Eden is survived by her son, Alex, daughter Charis, and granddaughter, Anna Marie, along with numerous relatives throughout North America and the Philippines. She joins her husband, Mario, mother, Dolores, father Anselmo, and brother Romulo, as well as other loved ones who have passed on. Lamay (viewing) will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Avenue. For whatever reason, I was compelled to look up your obituary. Most times, when I want to see your face instantly, I view your online obituary to be greeted by your smiling face. It happened to be nine years ago today, we admitted you to Grace hospital. All those hospital visits are rushing back into my memories. You are missed everyday, mom. In a couple months, it'll be a decade since you departed earth. I miss the sound of your voice the most. I remember the look and feel of your hands, the raised mole by your ear -- I miss the physical you. I love you greatly. You mean so much to me.
