JEAN INA MORISSEAU (nee RYRIE) April 28, 1948 - January 21, 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Jean at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, January 21, 2011, after battling for many years with Reynaud's, Scleroderma, and Pulmonary Hyper-tension and other related diseases. Auntie Jean will be lovingly remembered by the love of her life, her husband for 41 years, Bob Morisseau. She also leaves her sisters Sandra Moynham and Janet Kenyon, and her brother Jack Ryrie (Sherry). Auntie Jean will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, Darren Kenyon (Vicky), Sean Kenyon (Michelle), Troy Kenyon (Sherli-ann), Michelle Baron (Brian), Scott Ryrie (Leanne), Chad Ryrie, Casey Cochlan (Lin), and numerous cousins, great-nieces and nephews as well as many in-laws on the Morisseau side too numerous to name. Jean was predeceased by her parents Jim (1985) and Edna (2003). Jean attended Wingham Public School and Elm Creek Collegiate. After leaving school she obtained her hair stylist license which she used to run her own business in her final years, serving the seniors in the Charleswood area. Jean also worked for 21 years as a photographic colour printer for Sooter Studios. Jean loved her family and all their get-togethers. She loved her food and was an excellent cook and baker. She was also an avid shopper for herself as well as others and had a special rapport with many sales people. Jean and Bob enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing with family and friends. Jean and Bob loved to travel and enjoyed many vacations throughout the years. Jean had a fantastic sense of humour, was very witty and always enjoyed herself with family and friends. The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank-you to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for the care she received to make her comfortable during the final days of her life. A special thanks to Dr. Bshouty and Lyn, Dr. McCarthy, Dr. C. Ramsey, and Dr. M. Shnider, for giving Jean the extra years you gave her with the excellent treatment she received from you and many other specialists. According to Jean's wishes no formal funeral service will be held. The family will be holding a Celebration of Jean's life on February 5, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Elm Creek Hall. An open invitation is extended to all of Jean's friends and relatives to join us in remembering all the good times she shared with us. Flowers gratefully declined, please make donations to the charity of your choice in her memory. Rest in peace Jean, until we meet again
