Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDUARD STROM November 22, 1924 - January 19, 2011 Eduard is predeceased by his wife Klara, sisters Ehrentraut and Nelly, brothers Bertholt and Wilhelm, and parents Eduard and Rosina. He is survived by his children Gisela, Harald (Lorraine), Gerhard (Barb), Richard (Marcy), grandchildren Jacob and Alix and sister Renate. Born in Romania, Eduard moved to Germany at the start of the Second World War. He served in Germany in the army during the Second World War. Eduard returned home to meet and marry his wife Klara. He immigrated to Canada in 1959 and worked as a machinist at Versatile Manufacturing until retirement. He enjoyed hunting, wine making, woodworking, reading and watching wrestling. Eduard was always the life of the party making everyone laugh at family functions. Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes or Alzheimer's Society. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
