YVONNE ISABELLE PASWISTY (nee GUSTAFSON) September 1, 1939 - January 27, 2011 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Yvonne, with her daughter by her side, on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Marjie; son-in-law Terry; grandchildren, Karsen, Sam and Lacey, as well as numerous extended family, neighbours and friends. Yvonne was predeceased by her father Arvid Gustafson on December 30, 1985. Yvonne was born and raised in Kenora and moved to Winnipeg as a young adult with her daughter to pursue a lifetime career with Royal Bank and retired happily as a mortgage specialist. Yvonne loved being involved with her grandchildren's sporting life. With Karsen it was volunteering in the canteen for the North Winnipeg Nomads or cheering loudly from the sidelines and with Sam and Lacey it was just being a hockey Grandma, you could always hear the ringing of her cowbell at their games cheering them on. She made many lasting friendships along the way. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street.
