Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE FRIESEN January 24, 1924 - January 26, 2011 Kay passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the age of 87 years. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. In passing Kay leaves to mourn her children, Laura from Ottawa, Bart (Barb), Ray (Lesley) and Carol (Dave) from Vancouver; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as by her surviving brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her husband Peter in 2001. A private Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Avenue. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Katherine's memory to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
