MARIA DUDA (nee ROMANYK) March 8, 1915 - January 29, 2011 Suddenly on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Tache Centre, Mom passed away at the age of 95 years and 10 months. She is survived by three daughters: Lucienne (Andre), Anne-Marie (Martti) and Micheline (Glen); four grandchildren: Michelle (Jared), Chantal, Erik, and Dena (Doug); and two great-grandchildren: Sienna and Finley. She was predeceased by her husband Dmytro in 1994. She moved to France from Ukraine at the young age of 20; there she met and married Dmytro. In 1961 the family moved to Winnipeg. Mom worked at the St. Boniface Hospital for 20 years. She loved her children and grandchildren immensely. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and was a wonderful cook. A private family funeral will be held. The family would like to thank all those who looked after Mom at Tache Centre in the past year. Maman, tu seras toujours dans nos pensees et dans nos coeurs.
