She was born to the late Frank and Nellie Lisowski on October 3, 1936 in Winnipeg, MB. She is survived by her beloved husband Victor Ostir, of 55 years; three sons and their wives, Gary (Anita), Glenn (Ivonne) and Grant (Devon); brother Edward (Louise) Lisowski; six grandchildren, Jasmine, Haley, Brennan, Keaton, Hayden and Sydney; and numerous family members and special friends. In accordance with Shirley's wishes, a private service was held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation in Shirley's name be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7.
