Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAL GREENBLAT With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Al Greenblat in Woodland Hills, California, on January 21, 2011. Al leaves to mourn his twin sister Anne Gardner, sister Eve Obernick; brother Cecil (Katherine), and many nieces and nephews. Al was born on March 28, 1931 and grew up in Winnipeg's North End. He attended Aberdeen School and Isaac Newton High School, where he graduated. After finishing school, he worked as a switchman for the railway. Al hated the cold weather, so he left for Los Angeles in 1980. He attended U.C.L.A. and received his B.A. in accounting. He also made the Dean's Honour list. He worked for 27 years until his retirement. Al visited his family often. Funeral services were held on January 24, 2011 at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park and Mortuary in Hollywood Hills, California. He will be sadly missed.
