LESLIE DIANE CASTLING (Team Aunt Leslie) Peacefully on February 5, 2011, Leslie passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 65 after her courageous battle with breast cancer. Leslie is survived by her long time, loving partner Monique; aunt Bette and many other extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Grace Castling; brother Rick and her mother-in-law Josephine. Leslie was born on April 16, 1945 in Winnipeg. She was a legislative librarian for 33 years. Leslie was an avid reader, enjoyed music, drives in the country and spending countless hours at Gerry and Mollie's house, watching the river go by. Many thanks to CancerCare Manitoba for their efforts and to the Palliative Care Unit at Riverview Health Centre. A Celebration of Leslie's Life will be held on Friday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (phone 231-4885) on behalf of Team Aunt Leslie. 586-8044
