ELIZABETH REITZ On February 16, 2011 at The Luther Home in Winnipeg Manitoba, Elizabeth Reitz, beloved Mother and Oma passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her son Frank and his wife Barbara (Fort McMurray, AB) grandson Christopher (Tanya) with great-grandchildren: Phoebe, Leah, Jared, Magdelene, Claire, Marcus, Joel (Fort McMurray) and grand-daughter Katrina (Ted Pretty) with great-grandchildren Benjamin, Elijah, Nathanael, Samuel (Lamont, AB). Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Frank and her parents Wendell and Regina Jenovein. Elizabeth was born in (the former) Yugoslavia May 14, 1922. The family immigrated to Canada settling in Winnipeg in 1949. Family time was spent between Winnipeg and the cabin in Matlock. She was employed in the garment industry for many years and upon retirement enjoyed the summers at the lake. The family would like to thank the following: Elizabeth's second family at the Luther Home especially Roy and Carol for their constant support and devotion in keeping Elizabeth comfortable over the past several years. At Elizabeth's request, cremation has already taken place. A graveside memorial service will be announced at a later date.
