LIESBETH KLISCHIES A varied and colourful 97 year history ended peacefully with the passing of Liesbeth Klischies on February 13, 2011. The last survivor of seven siblings, Omi experienced the devastating loss of four siblings and twice lost her home in Germany in the Second World War. With dogged determination, the young professional chef raised her daughter Jutta before both boarded the ship The Seven Seas seeking a fresh start in Winnipeg over 50 years ago. She is survived by daughter Jutta L.M. Pajonk, granddaughter Clara Mitchell Enns with her daughter Jasmine (Ty) Aiken and step-children Laura and David Enns; granddaughter Ute Carla Pajonk; grandson Gustav Pajonk; grandson Siegfried Pajonk; grandson Odin (Oksanna) Pajonk and his children Brennan, Tawna and Penni; grandson Dietrich Pajonk (Maura Ingraham) and his daughter Chantal; along with step granddaughter Eveline (nee Pajonk) Holtmann and her daughter Anita-Luise (Scott) King. Liesbeth was most recently predeceased by Clara's beloved husband Paul Enns. Liesbeth was a friend to all and took many under her wing. Her grandchildren as well as their friends will miss their loving Omi . A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Centre for Spiritual Living, 625 Spruce Street, Winnipeg.
