ALMA DELORME (nee SINGLETON) July 13, 1927 - February 10, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Alma Delorme. She passed away at the age of 83 at the Carman Memorial Hospital. Alma spent three years at the Boyne Lodge Nursing Home. Alma was a war bride and loved to tell stories of her passage to Canada. Alma had six children. She leaves to mourn her husband of 65 years Roger Delorme; her children Barbara Peters (Abe), Marilyn Kauenhofen (Pete), Roger Jr., Donna Anderson (Kim), Debbie Fehr (Frank); 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Melinda Delorme who died November 10, 2004. Thanks to everyone who looked after our mother at the Boyne Lodge and Carman Hospital. Viewing will take place on Friday, February 25, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at Doyle's Funeral Chapel, Carman. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Carman Pentecostal Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or to Boyne Lodge in Carman. The gift of mom's and grandma's Is only on loan, When her work on earth is done.
