HORTENSE PATRICIA (PAT) SCHADE (nee ALLARIE) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hortense Patricia (Pat) Schade of Beausejour, MB on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the age of 83 at East Gate Lodge. Pat is the beloved wife of the late Don Schade and cherished mother to her sons, Doug (Debbie), Bruce (Shannon), Les, Gerald (Kim) and to her daughter Suzanne Skipper. Besides being a proud mother, she was a very proud Grandma to Kelly, Nolan, Kelsey, Devon, Ryan, and Derek Schade and Danielle and Jordan Skipper. She also leaves behind her sister Lucy and sister-in-law Eleanor, and many nieces and nephews. Mom was a kind, caring, loving person who loved being a Mom and Grandma. For the last four years, after Dad's passing, Mom's health deteriorated, but right to the very end, she was stubborn as ever. Mom passed away peacefully with her family by her side. The family would like to thank the amazing staff on the Rose Unit and all the staff at Eastgate Lodge for their care and compassion. We would also like to thank Dr. D. Schmidt. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday February, 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
