HOWARD BRYSON F/O DFC RTD Born: January 26, 1918 Husband, Father, Grandfather Sadly, on February 20, 2011, at Deer Lodge, Howard peacefully passed away. He leaves to mourn, his beloved wife Kathleen, son Wayne, two daughters Susan Shindle (Chad), Delphine Diamond, sisters Helen Randell and Gladys Young, sister-in-law Illene, three grandchildren, one great-grandson and many friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his first wife Doris. Howard was born in Darlingford, MB but raised in Manitou, MB. He set his roots in the Windsor Park area where he raised his family. Howard led a full life. He served in the Second World War from 1941 to 1945. He was a member of the Fort Rouge Legion and curling club for 50 years, Elks #10 for 40 years and a lifetime member of the Wartime Pilots and Observers Association. A special thank you going out to the staff at Deer Lodge T7. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, please make your donations to the War Amps or charity of you choice.
