Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPERCY GUY CHARLES (ROSEHEART) September 24, 1947 - February 22, 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father, son, brother and uncle, Percy Guy Charles. Guy leaves to mourn, his only child, Beau (Sheryl), his mother, Patricia Lenton, his sisters, Bev (Ted), Joan (Rick), Shelley (Bruce), Sandra (Rob) and Tracy (Rob) and one brother, Peter (Iris), as well as many nieces and nephews. Percy was born September 24, 1947 in Grand Clariere, Manitoba to Gabriel and Patricia. He spent his early years in St. Vital and at the young age of 16 he joined the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry. He was stationed in Europe and was also a Peace Keeper in Cyprus. After he left the armed forces, Guy lived in Australia, Europe and then he finally settled in British Columbia. He loved the British Columbia lifestyle and people. After many years in British Columbia he came back to be with his mother and family in Winnipeg. A celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
