KANAGARATNAM (KEN) PARAM 1935 - 2011 Kanagaratnam (Ken) Param passed away at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg on Friday evening, February 11, 2011, with his two daughters by his side. Growing up in Malaysia and then Singapore, he initially became a teacher, and then took on a career with the Royal Bank after immigrating to Canada in 1974. He leaves behind his daughters Lisa (Bob) and Melina, as well as his three granddaughters; Emma, Kate and Kylie and two sisters, Thevi and Kamala. Throughout his life and across three continents, Ken touched many people with his kindness and generosity. A service will be held to celebrate his life on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0R1. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meals on Wheels at www.mealswinnipeg.com, one of the many charities Ken supported and an organization for which Ken volunteered for many years.
