Date of Passing: Mar 01, 2011
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANIEL DELBERT GEAUVREAU December 6, 1955 - March 1, 2011 With great sadness, after a short battle with cancer, we announce the passing of Daniel Geauvreau on March 1, 2011, at the young age of 55, at the St. Boniface Hospital. He was predeceased by his father Delbert and his brother Vern. Daniel is survived by his mother Rosa, his brothers Gordon (Sharon) and Lew (Lilia), sister Donnalee (Jim), his wife Ruth, children Joseph (Joanne), Don-Leo of British Columbia, Sheila (Rene) and Lisa (Aaron), 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Dan will be greatly missed. He had a great sense of humour right to the very end. He enjoyed joking and pulling pranks on his loved ones but most of all, he really enjoyed being around his family. Dan really loved camping and fishing with his wife and occasionally with his family. Dan was employed at Ron's Trucking, which he really enjoyed. Thank you to family and friends who were all there in our time of need; special thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan's memory may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Program, A8030-409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway. Viewing one half hour prior to service.

It has been almost a year since you left us and not a day has went by that I don't think of you and wish that you were still here. It was hard to see you suffer but even harder to let you go. I miss you so much, you meant the world to me. You were a the greatest man that I have ever known and if one day I have a son not only will he be named after you but I pray to God that he turns out like you. Love you - Posted by: Lisa Gilbank (Niece) on: Feb 27, 2012
