NOEL GILLES HUPE December 25, 1942 - March 4, 2011 Peacefully, on Friday, March 4, 2011 with his family at his side Noel left us to be with the Lord. Noel's courageous battle with cancer was done. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Inga; daughters Deborah and Monique (Timothy) and his precious grandchildren Alyssa, Ryan, and Joshua; his brothers Pete (Terry), Edgar (Lorraine) and sister Myra (Dave). Noel was predeceased by his parents Flora and Arthur Hupe, sister Mabel, brothers Bernard, Leonard and Adelard. Due to illness Noel retired early from Canada Safeway and became a self taught computer whiz . When there was a need for Opa to chauffeur grandkids to and from school, he was always available. Opa was a storyteller and sing along companion to his grandchildren. Golf was a passion, and he especially enjoyed his time on the Phoenix golf courses with his wife Inga. Noel loved spending time in Arizona and treasured all the friends he made there. A Celebration of Noel's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Morrow Gospel Church, 755 St. Anne's Road. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Riverview Heath Centre. In lieu of flowers donations in Noel's memory may be made to Riverview Heath Centre, Palliative Care.
