SID ACKERMAN Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, Sid Ackerman passed away at the Ste. Rose General Hospital on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Prayers for Sid will be offered on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Services, Ste. Rose Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lawrence Community Complex, Rorketon, Manitoba. Pastor Howard Burnie will officiate with the interment following in the Magnet Cemetery. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in memory of Sid to a charity of one's choice.
