JEAN LAVACK Peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2011, Jean Lavack passed away at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne at the age of 83 years. He leaves behind his son, Jacques (Lise), daughter Yvonne (Jean-Pierre), his grandchildren Joelle (Neil), Luc, Jocelyne, great-grandchildren Nathaniel and Anna; brothers Raynald (Beatrice) and Georges and sisters Annette Delaquis and Emma Phaneuf. He was predeceased by his parents Georges Lavack and Marie-Louise (Lesage), his wife Jeanne (Perrin), brother Lewis and sisters Georgette, Marie-Paule (Blanchette) and Rita (Gendreau). Jean was born in Thibauville (Richer), MB on August 29, 1927 and spent most his life in Ste. Anne and surrounding area. He was a gentle, generous and adoring father and husband who gave his children a foundation of love and security and who was openly proud of his family. Although he suffered many illnesses throughout his life, he seldom complained and faced these difficulties with courage and grace. He was a man of deep, unshakable faith. There will be a viewing on Thursday, March 10 from 1.30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with eulogy at 1:50 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Ste Anne-des-Chenes Catholic Church in Ste-Anne, Manitoba.
