VERONICA MCKINNON (nee SAWCHUK) Peacefully, on March 3, 2011, Veronica passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 88 years. Veronica was predeceased by her husband Don; her parents; numerous brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her special niece, Janet; sister, Joan (Stan); brother, Pete (Shirley) and numerous nieces and nephews. Veronica was a loving, caring person with a heart of gold who liked to entertain as well as making her favourite holubci and coleslaw. She was employed for many years with Perfect Fit Glove Factory. Veronica resided at Amber Meadow for the past two and one half years and Joan and Stan would like to thank the staff and HomeCare, especially Diane, for their patience and care. The family would also like to thank the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th Floor, Unit 2 for their care and compassion. In accordance with Veronica's wishes, cremation has take place.
