RAKESH (RICK) DHIR It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rakesh (Rick) Dhir in Regina, SK on March 7, 2011. Rick was the treasured son of Dalip and Ashok and the much loved brother of his twin, Vick and younger brother Danny. The family is joined in their grief by Rick's grandmother, aunts, uncles and many cousins that will all miss Rick's presence and smile. The funeral will be at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home at 1291 McGillivray Blvd. in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Shanti Path will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Hindu Temple, 854 Ellice Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Winnipeg Harvest in honour of Rick's generous spirit. True to his character please know Rick fought his hardest to the end. We ask during this difficult time that people take a minute to remember their most cherished moments with Rick to let him know he will never be forgotten.
