ANTONIO ROSSI August 16, 1930 - March 12, 2011 Antonio Rossi, peacefully with his family by his side, passed away at the age of 80 years on March 12, 2011. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 46 years, Giovanna, his son, Marco, daughter, Carolina (Jose) and his grandchildren, Corey, Christopher and Caleb. He also leaves behind to mourn his sisters, Maria (Vittorio), Angela, and numerous nieces and nephews. Antonio was predeceased by his parents, Marco and Carolina. Antonio was born in Amato, CZ, Italy and later moved to Milano in 1957. He married the love of his life, Giovanna in 1964 and together moved to Winnipeg, MB in 1967. Antonio worked a variety of jobs where he finally settled in at Laidlaw School as a custodian for 18 years until his retirement in 1993. Antonio was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He looked forward to every Sunday when his grandkids would come to visit him. They were his pride and joy and he appreciated each of them for their different personalities and passions. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue. Winnipeg with Father Sam Argenziano presiding.
