Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBROWNIE CHUDZIK 1919 - 2011 Peacefully, on March 12, 2011 Brownie Chudzik passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 91 years. He is survived by his three children Jennifer (Robert), Gayle and Garry; grandchildren Carol, Michael, Stephen and great-grandchildren; Kylie, Thea and Tayler, his sister Mary and numerous nieces and nephews. Brownie was the third of seven children born to Sophie and Philip Chudzik. He served in Europe with the Royal Canadian Engineers and there he met his future bride Constance. They were married in England on March 16, 1945. They returned to Canada in 1947 where Brownie worked with the CNR Bridgecrew building bridges throughout British Columbia and elsewhere in Western Canada. They finally settled back in Winnipeg in 1951 where Brownie worked at Symington Yards for over thirty years until his retirement. A cabinet maker by trade, one of his jobs was the restoration of a number of classic passenger coaches. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). NEIL BARDAL INC.
