MARY NORMAN (nee BRYK) 1925 - 2011 It is with deep sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend Mary Norman (nee Bryk) on March 17, 2011 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 85. Mary was predeceased by her husband Walter Norman, sisters Jean Pick and Irene Proudfoot. Remaining to forever cherish Mary are her two daughters Bev (Bruce) Jacobson and Donna (Ted) Eisses; grandchildren Tessa, Kayla, Cole and Jenna; numerous relatives and dear friends. Mary had a warm welcome for visitors and friends and will always be remembered for her generosity, perogies and cabbage rolls. She had a love for adventure and travelled the globe yet always, returned to her favourite destination spot in Waikiki, Hawaii. Mary was happiest when surrounded by her family and was particularly proud of her grandchildren and all of their accomplishments. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. A small private gathering to celebrate Mary's life will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if family or friends so desire, donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B8.
