JACK NEWMAN December 9, 1940 - March 13, 2011 On Sunday, March 13, 2011, at the age of 70, Jack passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg with his sons, Graham and Paul, at his side. Jack was born and raised in Walthamstow, London, England and immigrated to Canada in 1965. He was predeceased by his parents, his daughter Rachel in 1984, his sister Peggy and his brother Robin. He is survived by his wife Marjorie and sons, as well as extended family in England. Thanks are extended to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre for the care Jack received in his final weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to the Reh-Fit Centre (www.reh-fit.com), where Jack spent many enthusiastic hours both as a member and a volunteer. A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2011 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street.
