DAVID MARKS April 7, 1946 - March 15, 2011 Suddenly at home on March 15, 2011, David passed away at the age of 64 years. He was predeceased by his parents Les and Gladys Marks. He leaves to mourn his passing his sister Sherrill Bruce, brother-in-law Bob, nephews Phil (Christina, Markus and Colton) and Paul (Meghan). David was born in Winnipeg and spent most of his working life in the accounting / bookkeeping business. He worked for many years for the Taylor Group, Warehouse One and was currently employed by Olafson and Jones. In his younger years, David loved to travel, especially to Costa Rica. He also lived in Snohomish, Washington and Portland, Oregon, but came home to be with Mum and Dad when she got very ill. After her passing he stayed with Dad, taking excellent care of him, until his passing. David had many very good friends across Canada and all over the world with whom he has kept in close contact. He will be sadly missed by many. As per David's wishes, there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, if friends so choose, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or a charity of one's choice.
