Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA JOAN FEDIRCHUK (nee SNOW) June 24, 1936 - March 18, 2011 It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my dearest Friend, my Sister Barbara, in Kelowna, BC, on Friday, March 18, 2011, with her sons by her side. She was predeceased by her former husband Walter; her daughter Susan; sons Terry and Darryl; her parents; and grandparents; her sister Dorothy; and sister-in-law Stella. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her sons Bruce, Bob, Lorne and Gary; her daughters Janice and Darlene; her sister Audrey; stepsisters Linda and Valerie, sister-in-law Helen; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Barbara was a very kind and gentle person who found great comfort in her church (the Church of God) and I thank Pastor Elke, his wife and their congregation for their kindness and compassion shown to Barb. To Peter and his staff at White Heather Manor - thank you for providing Barbara with such a loving and caring home. Barbara was so proud of being a member of the Royal Purple. She had received her 40 year pin not too long ago and was so humbled by being asked to serve as an officer. Thank you ladies for being there for Barbara and including her in everything. When Barbara passed away a very gentle heart stopped beating and, after such a courageous battle, may she truly find peace and be reunited with her loved ones. Cremation has taken place and a small family service will be held at a later date. The family request no flowers but if you should so desire a donation could be made to the Harmony House for Women in care of the Kelowna Gospel Mission. Rest Eternal grant unto her Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her. Barbara - I will miss our calls - I love you - God loves you - my dearest friend - my sister. Love always, Audrey.
