Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE LESACK August 20, 1906 - March 19, 2011 On March 19, 2011 Nellie Lesack passed away peacefully at Lion's Manor in Winnipeg. Nellie was born in Keld, Manitoba, August 20, 1906 and grew up in the Dauphin area of Manitoba. She was an avid knitter and crocheter and many of her relatives and friends were recipients of her handiwork. She also enjoyed doing the crossword and jumble puzzles in the daily newspaper. She is survived by her son William, and granddaughters, Cheryl Saathof, Janet Zurcher, Cynthia Thompson, Denise Caron and Monica Mirlycourtois and many great and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew, her son Joseph and her daughter Sadie. The family would like to thank the personnel and nurses at Lion's Place for the wonderful care that they provided to our mother and grandmother. A private family burial service has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at The Park Tower Restaurant, 2015 Portage Avenue on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
